When 3.0 was released, some things stayed in beta. They are in the 3.0 version, but since the UI element to create them is hidden it is not possible to create the feature, but files that use the feature will open correctly. The features that stay in beta for now are:
Data Object - Still refining this.
Column - Plot Action
Variable - From Command
Multidimensional least squares fit Command
Scalar Field command
Column - Number From String
Running log of changes.
- 12/12: 3.0 just came, reset the beta. Right now 3.0.1
- 12/12: 64 bits
- 12/12: Opening files that have large tables with groups is now a lot faster.
- 12/14: Changed things to make the error - www.visualdatatools.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=3269#3269 - less likely. Couldn't replicate the problem though so it might not be fixed.
- 12/15: Removed an unnecessary warning message - numberField==nil.
- 12/18: Fixed an exception in the DataGraph table, introduced in the last beta.
- 12/21: Fixed an issue with Range and multicolumn masks.
- 12/23: Opening up large files should be significantly faster now.
- 12/26: Fixed an issue with Connect and multiple masks, same issue as the Range command had. Fix some issues related to the speedup on 12/23.
