Hi, folks -- For a series of graphs I regularly produce, I copy the data directly from an HTML table where it's published regularly, and paste it into my pre-defined data definitions. It works great but I'm wondering if I'm missing a way to directly tie my DataGraph definitions to the HTML table?

In other words, is there a way to draw (or refresh) data from an external source directly into DataGraph?

I'd be happy to find a CLI approach, for example, where I could regularly refresh my DataGraph output without the manual steps of opening, copy/pasting data, exporting my graphs.

Appreciate any guidance.

Since discovering DataGraph earlier this year I'm awed by its capabilities. Shocked I hadn't heard of it before!

I'm working on adding these types of input method. They are in currently the beta that you can download and run using your license.

It is in the JSON group, that you add to the data table. You can add arguments and have it automatically redresh the data. It is still just in beta because I want to make sure that it covers a wide range of use cases.

It does assume that the output is a JSON object, but let me know here or through email (david@vis...) if it needs some processing now pruning.

How did you hear of us? Suggestions on where we should advertise are always appreciated.

David -- I honestly don't recall where I heard about your product. In the back of my mind, I want to say it was one of those promotions where a bunch of products were available at a reduced price. I had experimented with most of the featured products but yours was completely new to me, which really surprised me. I feel as though I've only scratched the surface with it, but I've already recommended it to several colleagues.

For what it's worth to you, I have a good deal of background in this area. Happy to share some thoughts with you. I'll drop you an email.

Thanks for your quick reply on the technical issue. I'll have a look at the beta and play around with it.
