I'm importing a bunch of data from .csv .txt etc... into a single DataGraph project and I'm using the import special function.

Is there a way to group each imported file with the name of the datafile or possibly a string from a header in the file? For example I have a number of data files from different samples but will be plotting and comparing all the results on a couple of graphs - it would make it easier to handle if they were grouped automatically as I then wouldn't have to group and name manually.

Thanks!

You can import them all at the same time. In the Special Import sheet there is a checkbox to include the file name as well into a column. Then you can use a mask to limit analysis/drawing to a particular file name.

In the special importer you can also set it so that it will automatically be run on a file with a particular ending when you drag it into the column list. That is one way to make it easy to create a group for each imported file.
