Hi,

I've to solve the following issue:

A plot shows transmitted datatraffic rates (y axis) over the time (x axis).

During the transmission time another process changes between 4 different operational states numbered with 1,2,3,4. (repeatedly toggled, e.g. 1,3,2,1,4,2...)
For each timestamp (higher density as datatraffic values) I have one of these four state values.

It is my target to create different coloured ranges to mark in which operational state the data transmission occurs.
I'm about to use the "use as mask" function in the range definition, but I am not able to get the right result as expected.

I'ld be very obliged for each advice related to this issue.

Regards,
Jens
