1) How can I extract the histogram shown with the residuals option?

When I fit an equation with the 'arbitrary function' option, I receive the parameters, R^2, σ^2 and number of data points. When I request the residuals from that window, it shows me the data plot and a histogram showing the residual spectrum for the y-direction.

I can't print a copy of the histogram. Neither can I output the residuals shown in the histogram.

The histogram shows me the regions of y-data that are nosiest. I want to show this information in a hard copy.

2) How can I estimate the uncertainties in the parameters?

There has to be some method of estimating a range for each parameter. PsiPlot provides a range of validity for each observer based on univariate statistics. Therefore, I know it can be done.

At this point I only have a good answer to #1.

Using the gear menu in the top right corner you can extract the residual column and add it to the data table. Then use this column in a histogram command.

Right now the histogram that is drawn in the fit function is intended as a quick view, and wasn't really intended as publication quality.

For #2, this is a common request and I need to look into how to add this.
