I see. You are using the "Bar" command from the Command menu. For most bar graphs the "Bars" command is going to be better and that allows you to change the orientation.
The "Bar" command was originally the way to create bar graphs but has been demoted somewhat in later versions. For now, it's main purpose is for drawing bar graphs where the locations are not uniform, and even for that the Plot command with the step option might be better.
That said, I will look into adding an orientation option for the Bar command, just like what is in the "Bars" command.

i have tried "bars" command,but it seems i can't fill bar with gradient" with 2 or 3 colors just like in "bar" command.
Is there anyway to use more than one color?

I added the same alignment and rotation options to the Bar command that are in the Bars command. So this should now work in the latest beta.
