Screen Movies

Screen movies that show DataPlot in action.

Entering numbers

Enter data into the table and see the result immediately. Adjust line style, line width color etc and get immediate feedback.

Pasting in Numbers

Paste numbers from other applications.

Importing Numbers

Shows how you can import a data file into DataPlot. DataPlot can importn tab, comma or space separated numbers. DataPlot can also import Cricket Graph data files.

DataPlot does not put a limit on how many rows you can use in a table. You can easily import tens of megabytes of data and plot it without problems.

Command Line

Included command line tool. Look at a DataPlot script as a method to take data from a table into a graphic. The command line interface - dplot - takes in a DataPlot script, the data file you want to use to replace the data table and the output file name. That's it. You can overwrite some of the settings by using flags, allowing you to customize output, set thresholds, axis titles etc.

You can also do this through the included Automator action.

QuickTime output

QuickTime export is easy. You can set up an animation in DataPlot, animate it on screen, and then export it with a single click. Great for bringing a plot to life in your KeyNote presentations.
